Year 7 & 8

This seminar has been specifically designed for Year 7 and 8 students to develop essential skills for independent learning in secondary education.

Students will experience a fast-moving and multi-media presentation that reinforces practices that will enable them to take ownership of their learning - being organised, coming to school with the right equipment, using a planner, as well as the importance of listening and participating in lessons.

They will be shown tried and tested strategies that can be used across the curriculum with inspirational examples from people in the worlds of sport, business, music and education.

Our instructors can deliver one or two seminars during the course of the school day and timings can be adjusted to fit your school timetable. We provide a master set of Students' Notes written by leading educationalists in consultation with teachers throughout the UK.
