Year 10
This seminar has been specifically designed for Year 10 students, helping them to adjust to the demands of this crucial year as they embark on their GCSE and vocational courses.
Students will experience a fast-moving and multi-media presentation that reinforces the practices that are key to becoming a successful independent learner – being organised and hitting deadlines, developing research and presentational skills, and the importance of setting themselves targets.
They will be shown tried and test strategies than can be used across the curriculum with inspirational examples from people in the worlds of sport, business, music and education.
Our instructors can deliver one or two seminars during the course of the school day and timings can be adjusted to fit your school timetable. We provide a master set of Students' Notes written by leading educationalists in consultation with exam markers and teachers throughout the UK.
We fully understand the complexity of taking students off-timetable and investing in an external study skills provider and, therefore, our aim is always that Maximize goes above and beyond your expectations.
