Leadership
The responsibilities of any school are diverse and complex. Students are not only shaped academically but also emotionally for their individual roles within society later on in life. Within that context, few things are perhaps more important to human activity than leadership and at every level in life the effects of good leadership leave marked impressions for the future.
The Maximize Leadership presentation helps all students to explore and develop their leadership skills, specifically using the opportunities present within the school community as a whole.
As well as exploring group dynamics and communication with contemporary case studies, the presenter will invite students to be actively involved in a variety of team building activities which highlight the importance of co-operation and the need to utilise the skills of every individual within a group. Students will leave with the knowledge that leading is taking responsibility with the view to make a positive difference to the people around them.
The presentation is suitable for a wide range of students, not only those taking up positions of responsibility amongst their peers, and can be tailored to the needs of an individual school.
