When a school seeks to instil effective study skills in students, it is paramount that all staff, at every level within the school, are part of the process, and this consistency, which takes time, effort and persistence, is one of the hallmarks of successful schools.

The Maximize INSET programme takes the main points from our student presentations and provides teaching staff of varied responsibilities with helpful, readily accessible tips that can be used across the curriculum to support their students. Much attention is given to the 'how and why' of the success of these techniques, drawn from our wide knowledge gained through working in schools throughout the country.

Teaching and support staff alike will leave this presentation motivated and reminded as to how they can best help their students enjoy learning and achieve more.

Twilights

The Maximize study skills seminars are motivational and encourage every student to be the best they can be. They leave our presentations wanting to do better and equipped with practical techniques that they can use across the curriculum.

However, feedback from schools continually emphasises the crucial role of teachers in helping students 'digest' the study skills they learn in the days and weeks after the presentation and a Twilight session builds on this momentum.

It is a fast-moving presentation, typically lasting just one hour, that provides teachers with an overview of the students' seminar and gives specific ideas that can be applied in lessons and tutor time.
